1. How often should I get my car cleaned?
Your car is an investment, like your house. A vehicle being used daily should be cleaned in and out every 2 weeks or at least once a month. This allows you to maintain a good value for your automobile.
2. Is it ok to leave love bugs on my car and wait to get them off next week?
This is a must not! Detailers can not express enough that when you get home from a trip or when you see them get them off immediately! Love bugs are good for one thing - destroying your cars paint and almost anything they come in contact with on your automobile. The damage is irreversible most of the time. So keep it good and waxed where they land.
3. When should I get my vehicle waxed?
If you keep the vehicle in the garage you can wax about every 5 to 6 months. If not kept in the garage wax about every 3 months. This is important in the hot Florida sun. The wax should be of good commercial grade.
4. Can I use dish soap on my car?
No! Why? Dish soaps have chemical agents in them that remove grease. These chemicals also remove wax. It is important to have a very soft soap designed for your automobiles paint surface. We are known for a brilliant shine after a fresh wash. The soaps we use have wax in them for the longevity of your vehicle.
5. Should I take my car to those couple of dollars wash drive-thrus?
Most of these places have a recycled water system. This means your car is taking a bath after another car. What this can do is leave harmful water deposits on your paints surface even on windows and rims. This can be very costly to remove. We use fresh water that is treated by a soft water system and is extremely safe for your paints surface.
6. When should I get a full detail?
This should be done once a year at least. Everything inside and out. If you are not on a budget try to get it done every 6 months. This is extremely essential for the life of your vehicle.
7. Should I get a full if I am selling or trading the automobile in?
Yes, for the pennies it will cost you in the detail you will get a much larger return, we have seen clients get $1000's more. Very wise choice to do this.
8. Can anyone high speed buff my car?
No, only let a trained professional do this. If they are not experienced they can burn and destroy your paints surface! This could end up costing you a new paint job.
